Cold Plunge
Cold water immersion immediately stimulates blood flow, reduces swelling and releases endorphins, but that's not all that's happening below the surface.
What is Cold Plunge?
By forcing yourself to embrace the stress of cold you will release cold shock proteins into your bloodstream that will scorer the body, will increase protein synthesis (muscle repair) and peripheral vasoconstriction that forces all the oxygen into the core and up into the brain.

Deliberate cold exposure causes a significant release of epinephrine (ADRENALINE) and norepinephrine (NORDADRENALINE) in the brain and body. This will make us feel alert and increase our levels of energy and focus.

Benefits
Cold exposure causes the prolonged release of dopamine.  Dopamine is a powerful molecule capable of elevating mood, enhancing focus, attention, goal-directed behavior.

In the short term, cold exposure increases metabolism as the body has to burn calories to increase core body temperature. Cold therapy will directly target our brown fat which holds a tremendous amount of energy.

The three molecules norepinephrine, epinephrine, and dopamine (catecholamines) will leave you feeling accomplished, energized and happy.

No Amount of Exercise, Hit Training, Cardiovascular, or Weight Training will come anywhere close to immersing yourself in cold water that will help strip fat off of your body fast.
What to Expect
When you get into a cold plunge you want to immediately try and bring your arms in and BREATHE. You want to have strong inhales and match them with strong exhales.  Your first minute will be the hardest but focus on YOU vs YOU and don't allow the water to be stronger than YOU.

BE COMFORTABLE BEING UNCOMFORTABLE. YOUR MIND IS A POWERFUL TOOL AND THIS IS ALL MENTAL.

Be comfortable in your own thoughts and don't allow fear to take over.
Pro Tips
  • Consider doing deliberate cold exposure for 11 minutes per week in multiple sessions lasting 1-7 minutes on average.
  • The water should be uncomfortable cold yet safe to stay in for a few minutes.
  • Undoubtedly, during or before cold exposure you will find your mind pushing back against the challenge.

Your mind will say I really do not want to do this, even before getting in, or " GET ME OUT OF HERE"

What is a Traditional Sauna?
Cryotherapy is based on the general premise that the human body is a completely self-regulating system and the best mechanism for taking care of its own conditions. The main goal of a whole-body cryo procedure is to stimulate the body to regain and use its natural ability to recover. The service exposes the body to -200 degrees Farenheight for 2-3 minutes which produces a natural fight-or-flight response that constricts the blood vessels, calms the pain receptors and flushes out inflammation. Not only is this great in aiding your body's metabolism but you will also receive a burst of energy after your experience.

Red Light Therapy
Improve skin tone and texture, reduce the appearance of acne scarring, sleep better, and enjoy anti-aging benefits. Celluma uses low-level light therapy delivered by high intensity LEDs known to improve skin health.
What is Red Light Therapy?
Red Light Therapy is a safe, natural treatment method that shines red and/or near-infrared (NIR) light onto the skin via light-emitting diode (LED) bulbs. As the light absorbs into the skin, it stimulates healing at a cellular level. It’s process of emitting concentrated light wavelengths helps to stimulate your body's natural healing and regeneration processes.

10 Minutes $30

20 minutes $60

How Does it Work?
Red Light Therapy (RLT) is thought to work by producing a biochemical effect in cells that strengthens the mitochondria. The mitochondria are the powerhouse of the cell — it’s where the cell’s energy is created. The energy-carrying molecule found in the cells of all living things is called ATP. By increasing the function of the mitochondria using RLT, a cell can make more ATP. With more energy, cells can function more efficiently, rejuvenate themselves, and repair damage-such as repairing skin, boosting new cell growth and enhancing skin rejuvenation.

**EXPERIENCE CONTRAST THERAPY WITH OUR INFRARED SAUNA & COLD PLUNGE**
What is Contrast Therapy?
Contrast Therapy involves alternation between exposure to high heat and cold water. This practice has risen in popularity for numerous brain and body benefits. Contrast Therapy is a recovery intervention that produces rapid changes in your circulatory system by increasing blood circulation. An essential principle is always starting with heat therapy first and ending with cold therapy. Contrast therapy produces rapid changes in your circulatory system. Quickly switching between hot and cold conditions triggers your body to naturally increase blood flow. This process involves alternating between constriction and dilation of blood vessels, improving vascular and cardiac response and overall recovery of muscles as they are now receiving an influx in fresh blood.
